A new exciting opportunity has risen to exhibit at The Sugar Cane Coffee Lounge, Ashgrove. I’ve got live music, champers, canapes and of course all my intricate, paper artwork will be on display on my opening night which is Saturday 19th November. To book please get in touch, $25 a ticket.
Most people around my children’s school know me or know of me, some of them know that I’m a creative type, with only a few who really know what I get up to in my few, precious moments of spare time. So when the opportunity of the school art show came up, I thought I would exhibit the pieces that I did a few years ago to show my creativity.
It’s quite a nerve wracking experience, it is like showing your soul but you know let people in and they can surprise and lovely things can happen.
I had many sales from the exhibition which made my heart jump for joy including this lovely stained-glass inspired piece using ripped paper and another exhibition is now in the pipeline.
As well as exhibiting at the art show, my lovely friend and I were in charge of decorating the hall in a rainbow of paper star garlands. It was an art installation in itself!! The end result was amazing and it was a shame to take it down when the show was all over but it wouldn’t have survived the boy’s indoor soccer!
Well until next time.
I’ve been having fun making new lines for my Etsy shop. It’s good to get back into the swing of making things again!
Little Cottage Bunting was very cute to make and would look great in a girls bedroom or used as gift wrapping. It’s now looking for an owner. If you are interested, please take a look in my link to my Etsy shop.
Hopefully it won’t be so long before my next post.
I was very excited on Monday to receive my very first custom order on Etsy. A lovely customer wanted bunting in peaches, pinks, golds and creams. I worked with her with all the different colour combinations and finally came up with a Peach, Pale Peach and Cream combination in my triangular bunting range for her daughter’s birthday.I enjoyed packaging the order up and just hoped it would meet with her approval!
When my customer received her parcel, she said “Love them!!! Beautiful job. Colours are perfect and beautifully presented!!”. I was thrilled with her remarks! If you too want custom-made bunting, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Until next time.
The sun was shining, the bunting was out flapping in the gentle breeze, Saurday afternoon was a perfect time to celebrate a friend’s forthcoming first born child.
Saturday was a fun day and a beautiful reason to get together with people that I haven’t seen in quiet a few years.
Until next time.
Since putting up the shop window at Skyring Architects, I’ve been busy putting new things into my Etsy shop. One of the new things that I’m excited about is my range of paper garlands, in beautiful shades but I can create them in whatever shade or hue you may like – well, within the range of colour cardstock that I have available anyway!!!
If you are arranging a celebration or just want to decorate your child’s bedroom or use as gift decoration, I would love to hear from you. Please come and visit my shop at www.etsy.com/au/shop/LilibetStanley
Until next time.
Hello!! I hope you are having a productive day. I have been busy putting more stock into my Etsy shop. So far I have put the following artworks on and more will be following in the next couple of days! The artwork featured here is using torn Kaisercard from Kaisercraft by hand.
All my artwork will be available in print form and at the moment, the smaller sizes will be available as originals aswell.
It’s all been a huge learning curve for me but I think I am getting there finally!!
